Integrity Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
1. Our position
BeyondSwipe has zero tolerance for human trafficking, forced labour, sexual exploitation, coercion, and the financial abuse of vulnerable people. We will not knowingly allow our platform to be used as an instrument of any of these, and we will act on credible information without waiting to be compelled to.
Dating platforms are, unfortunately, a recruitment surface for exploitation. We built BeyondSwipe around mandatory identity verification in significant part because anonymity is what makes that recruitment cheap and consequence-free. This policy sets out what we prohibit, how we detect it, and what we do when we find it.
2. Who this applies to
This policy applies to every member and visitor, and to everyone who works for or with 15748666 Canada Inc., including employees, contractors, moderators, advisers and suppliers. We expect the businesses we work with to hold standards consistent with this policy, and we will end relationships with any that do not.
3. What we mean
- Human trafficking, recruiting, transporting, harbouring or controlling a person through force, fraud, deception or coercion, for the purpose of exploiting them.
- Sexual exploitation, obtaining or attempting to obtain sexual acts through abuse of power, vulnerability, payment, or coercion, including any commercial sexual service.
- Forced labour, work extracted under threat, debt, confiscation of documents, or any form of control that removes a person's ability to leave freely.
- Coercive control, operating, monitoring, or directing another person's account or conversations, whether or not force is used.
- Financial exploitation, using a relationship formed here to extract money or financial access from someone, including romance fraud and the recruitment of money mules.
4. Strictly prohibited
- Any activity connected to human trafficking or the smuggling of people
- Advertising, arranging, soliciting or purchasing commercial sexual services
- Recruiting for, or promoting, any form of sexual or labour exploitation
- Creating or operating an account on behalf of, or under the control of, another person
- Any sexual content or contact involving a minor, without exception
- Targeting people on the basis of vulnerability, immigration status, isolation, addiction, financial distress, disability, or bereavement
- Using the platform to launder money, move criminal proceeds, or recruit others to do so
5. How verification supports integrity
Requiring a genuine government-issued document and a live biometric selfie from every member has three effects that matter here:
- It makes it substantially harder to operate a network of controlled or fabricated profiles, because each one requires a distinct real identity and a payment.
- It confirms age from a document rather than a self-declared birthday, which is the single most effective barrier to minors reaching an adult platform.
- It means removal has lasting effect, and that a verified identity exists which can be disclosed to law enforcement under proper legal process.
We are realistic about the limits of this. Verification confirms identity; it does not reveal intent, and a verified person can still be an offender, or themselves a victim being controlled by someone else. Verification is one layer, not a solution.
6. Indicators we watch for
Our moderation processes and our team are trained to treat the following as warranting closer review. We also ask members to report them:
- Profiles advertising services, rates, or availability, whether coded or explicit
- Language suggesting someone else is writing, managing, or monitoring the conversation
- Scripted, repeated, or near-identical messaging across many accounts
- Signs of a person being unable to speak freely, or fearful of a third party
- Offers of work, travel, modelling or accommodation that seem disproportionate to what is asked
- Rapid pressure to move off-platform, then to travel or relocate
- Requests for identity documents, banking access, or for someone to receive or forward money or packages
- Clusters of accounts sharing devices, payment instruments, or behavioural patterns
7. Financial and payment integrity
Payments on BeyondSwipe are processed by Stripe. We do not hold member funds, we do not operate transfers between members, and there is no mechanism to send money to another member through the platform. Any request to send money is, by definition, a request to leave our payment rails, which is precisely why we treat it as a red flag.
We monitor for payment abuse including fraudulent instruments, coordinated sign-ups, and chargeback abuse used to fund disposable accounts. Members subject to sanctions or in prohibited jurisdictions may not use the service. Where we identify suspected criminal proceeds, we cooperate with the relevant authorities.
8. Detection and review
We use automated screening on uploaded images for adult content and, separately, hash matching to detect child sexual abuse material before publication. Text and behavioural signals are used to surface accounts for human review. Automated systems flag; people decide in serious cases. We keep records sufficient to support investigations and cooperation with authorities.
9. Reporting and escalation
If you believe someone is being exploited, controlled, or trafficked, whether that is another member or yourself, report it to safety@beyondswipe.app. These reports are prioritised and handled confidentially.
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In Canada, the Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline is available 24/7 on 1-833-900-1010. Concerns involving a child can be reported to Cybertip.ca.
Where we identify credible indicators of trafficking or exploitation, we may suspend accounts, preserve relevant records, and report to law enforcement or the appropriate national body. We will not delay acting on a serious safety concern in order to gather certainty we are not in a position to reach.
10. Consequences
Accounts involved in exploitation, trafficking, or commercial sexual services are removed permanently and without refund. Related accounts are reviewed and removed where connected. We reserve the right to retain a record of the removal, including a reference to the verified identity, for the purpose of preventing the person from returning, and to disclose information to authorities acting under proper legal process.
11. Speaking up without fear
Anyone, member, employee, contractor or supplier, who raises a concern in good faith under this policy will not face retaliation from us for doing so, even if the concern turns out to be mistaken. Concerns about how we ourselves are handling a matter can be sent to integrity@beyondswipe.app.
12. Review
We review this policy at least annually, and sooner where our risk assessment, the law, or the behaviour we observe on the platform changes. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read alongside our Community Guidelines and Dating Safety & Anti-Scam Policy.
